Nawarra—meaning flower-( could also mean a Joyful person) is a leeds based Belly dancer of a Moroccan origin, the first Arab oriental dance instructor, based in Yorkshire and the North of England ... Nawarra is among the most charismatic and acclaimed Choreographer, performer and master dance instructor of Moroccan dance- Maghreb Dance- of our time.
Born and brought up in Casablanca, Nawarra was fascinated by dance and music since childhood and grew up among the finest traditional dancers and musicians of her native country. She is currently using her expertise to lead highly successful advanced classes in Arabian dance.
Her dance style focuses on the different styles from Maghreb-Morocco-, to the Middle East . With an M.A. degree in Drama Art (she speaks three fluent languages) is always aware of the impact that culture has in art and how that can be expressed in the dance.
Nawarra also performs all Egyptian styles of dance, and other Arabian dance such as Lebanese either the shaiibi or the Debka, the Khaleejy, Palestinian debka. She has choreographed many group pieces. Known by being a strong yet agile dancer and has a magnetic personality that will charm any audience. She has innovative choreographies and a great “stage presence”.
Moved to the United Kingdom in 1996 . Joined the Arabic Dance Group in Leeds. But always had a flare on setting proper Arabian Dance Group to represent most of the Arabian Culture with its vast diversity, so Banat Eshorouk—Leeds Based Arabian dancers-- came with all the enthusiasm and dedication to perform the Authentic Arabian flavour .. The first group to perform the Khaleejy, Nubian, Debka, Haggalah and the Moroccan Atlas Berber in Yorkshire and North England.
She is available for stage and theatre work, cultural events, corporate and private parties, weddings,hen nights or any special occasion. As well as performing dance, She is able to give seminars and teach workshops.
She is nationally and internationally renowned for her teaching. He travels widely and teaches workshops with anything from a smaller group into larger ones, but always teaches with passion and is able to give individual attention.

Nawarra teaches individuals and can give private classes. He is able to create a comfortable learning environment and tailors classes to individual needs. Private classes are ideal for anyone who wishes to develop their skills in a more personal environment.

On the International side, she also took part at the Mousica Rouhya in Fes august 2008.
